About Us

From Amanda, the creator of Allergenius:

I am 16 years old, and a food allergy sufferer. My brother, who is 12, is also a food allergy sufferer—his allergies even more severe than mine.

Given the passion I feel for people (especially kids) with food allergies, I decided to create this cookbook app for people who struggle with eating safely, whereby users can create a profile of their allergens and generate recipes absent of those allergens.

My idea for an allergy-friendly cookbook app quickly took off. Doctors, teachers, allergy advocates, allergy sufferers, and others have all supported the project. And now, one year later, Allergenius is ready for use! You are going to love it.
